Quality Control for Shore-Processed Seafood

Quality Control Inspection Procedure

Certified Quality Assurance Inspectors visit all freezing plants and freezer trawlers regularly. Product is continuously inspected during production as well as during the freezing process. The inspectors check to make certain that sanitation, cleaning and personal hygiene rules are being followed in the plants and onboard the vessels. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s HACCP and SSOP’s rules for food safety are rigidly followed.
