Our licensees have to meet the following requirements:

  • Established operations with a proven track record (selected markets/products), open to development, innovation, and growth opportunities.
  • Already use recyclable packaging to the greatest possible extent (EC Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive compliant, as a minimum standard).
  • Willing to conduct regular quality reviews, provide reports, and accept random audits (to ensure Icelandic brand integrity).
  • Compliance with Icelandic brand and quality requirements.

With total revenues of over $800 million, High Liner Foods is the leading North American processor and marketer of value-added frozen seafood throughout the United States and Canada. High Liner Foods is an exclusive license holder for the 'Icelandic Seafood' brand for high-quality frozen seafood products sold through foodservice channels in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Iceland Seafood International

Iceland Seafood is a leading exporter of seafood from Iceland to principal markets around the world. One of the very few companies in Iceland commercializing all products, including fresh, land-frozen, FAS, salted, lightly salted, and dried products. Iceland Seafood provides detailed technical services, logistical solutions, and quality assurance for its customers.

Icelandic Asia is among the leading exporters of frozen wild-caught North Atlantic seafood to the Asian market. Supplying for more than 30 years the largest seafood-consuming countries in Asia with both landfrozen and FAS pelagic and groundfish, Icelandic Asia has become synonymous with high-quality seafood from the North Atlantic.
